On behalf of Phoenix and myself, like to thank you intrepid early adopter fans out there for your patience, and explain the lengthy silence from the Universe of Phoenix And Phriends. Episode 2 is currently in production, but progress has been slow thus far. This is primarily due to the fact that I, the real world Dada (Byron H Diel), am in the process of finishing my BS in biochemistry, and have been down in the trenches of a rather grueling final semester, in addition the usual routine of my paramedic job, and the challenges of parenting an entity with superhuman energy. The good news is that barring any unforseen academic catastrophe I will graduate in one month, and there will be a lot more time to get the Phoenix And Phriends Mothership back into optimal operation. The semester got off to a bit of a rocky start, due in no small part to the many hours I spent editing Episode 1, and getting the blog set up. After the decades of being in and out of college, and the immense amount of sporadic and chaotic energy invested in this degree, I wasn’t going to take any chances with not graduating, so we had to slow down, but I assure you, this is a very temporary situation. Things are looking solid on the academic front at this point, so I just need to stay focused for a few more weeks. Episode 2 is going to be a lot of fun, and I am very excited about how the storyline, casting, and early scenes are coming together. Phoenix is doing extremely well, I can’t wait for the opportunity to showcase his ever more hilarious and engaging personality, and his vast array of developing skills. I really appreciate you folks out there who took the time to watch Episode 1, and all of the feedback we’ve received, including the constructive criticism. Phoenix And Phriends will be back in action very soon, and Episode 2 is going to take the adventure to a whole new level. Watch this Space!
